A 10th floor office fit-out at Exchange Flags, Liverpool, designed to create a clear, well-functioning workspace that supports modern working patterns.
Combining an efficient layout with a strong material finish, the space balances day-to-day usability with a professional working environment.
The Brief
The project required a workspace that would appeal to multiple occupiers while making the most of natural light and surrounding views.
Flexibility within the layout was essential.
The Work
Reconfiguring the internal layout, we introduced new wall formations to define working zones and improve flow across the space.
Key elements of the fit-out included bespoke furniture, glazed partitions, new wall and floor finishes, and a full HVAC installation. Each element was coordinated to ensure the space functions effectively while maintaining a strong overall finish.
The Result
The finished space brings together a series of distinct working environments, each shaped around how it is used throughout the day.
Stronger moments, such as the branded breakout area and boardroom, sit alongside quieter open-plan zones, creating a balance between identity and day-to-day function. Glazed partitions maintain visibility across the floorplate, while changes in flooring and furniture help to define different areas without interrupting flow.
The result is a workspace that feels structured but not rigid, with enough variation to support different ways of working while maintaining a clear overall identity.
