Okay, so we know we shouldn’t have favourites… but have you seen this office fit-out for fashion brand Musera?!
With a strong emphasis on laidback urban luxe, this gorgeous workspace, complete with stripped-back floorboard, exposed beams and bare bricks, really is something to behold.
The Brief
This project involved a high-spec CAT B fit-out across the top two floors of a listed building in Manchester’s vibrant Northern Quarter.
Work included the formation of new office and washroom facilities, along with the creation of purpose-built spaces to support day-to-day operations.
The concept was clear – to find the sweet spot between the old and the new. Creating a modern, multifunctional head office environment whilst retaining and honouring the building’s historic character.
The Work
Situated above the former Cottonopolis site, retaining original features such as exposed timber floors and beams, was a top priority, and a focal element of the design concept.
Key elements of the fit-out included:
Feature lighting
Formation of new walls to reconfigure space
Fitted joinery including new bespoke work desks, kitchens, and reception area
Furniture
Electronic roller storage
Dedicated photo studio spaces
Mechanical and electrical adaptations (M&E)
The Result
With a focus on quality materials and enhancing spatial flow, combining contemporary design with heritage elements was the key to success with this project.
