Delivered across the fourth and fifth floors of Pall Mall Court, this CAT B office fit-out created a flagship Manchester workplace for Gunnercooke LLP within one of King Street’s most distinguished Grade II listed buildings. Working across 16,200 sq ft, the project includes operational workspace, client-facing areas, hospitality spaces and specialist facilities.
The Brief
The project required a high-specification legal workplace that could support day-to-day operations, client hospitality and wider team needs within a listed building. With a varied brief spanning focused work, events, wellbeing, broadcast and hospitality, the space needed to deliver a premium workplace environment while responding carefully to the character and constraints of Pall Mall Court.
The Work
Managing the project from a single point of accountability, we delivered the full CAT B interior package across both floors. Works included full mechanical and electrical installation, HVAC, power and containment, passive data infrastructure, AV installation, architectural lighting, bespoke joinery, curved acoustic glazed partitions, specialist wall finishes, feature stone, engineered timber and premium carpet.
Key spaces in this fit-out included a fully fitted TV studio, reading room, wellness room, four kitchens and a premium client entertainment space, with every area coordinated to meet the demands of a modern legal workplace.
The Result
A flagship Manchester office with real presence, combining heritage sensitivity, technical performance and a luxury level of finish across both floors. The completed space brought a complex mix of working, hospitality and specialist areas into one highly resolved environment, delivered on programme within an occupied Grade II listed building. The result reflects the standard expected from one of the UK’s fastest-growing law firms, with a refined finish built around the firm’s workplace culture.
